Believe it or not, we don't often toot our own horn - but we're making an exception because ITPR has been officially crowned the "Best B2B Technology PR Consultancy 2023" by SME News, a digital magazine aimed at those who own, run or assist in the running of small and medium-sized businesses in the UK.
This is an incredibly proud moment for me as this is the first independent recognition ITPR has received since I became the principal shareholder.
I have to pay credit to our small and perfectly formed team at ITPR who have been working hard and very diligently to make sure that our B2B digital PR campaigns deliver more than just coverage.
This award is down to their excellent work and effort - not just from our existing team, but also the team that I have had the pleasure to work with since 2021 who delivered outstanding results.
Yes, ITPR might not have the depth of people as larger agencies, but what we lack in size we make up for in experience.
We base our PR campaigns on outcomes, not outputs because outcomes are what make the real impact.
We put an emphasis on targeted and personalised media engagement, telling engaging stories in our content and creating actual news stories that earn backlinks that drive traffic back to our client's websites.
Now, like me, there might be some of you that see similar announcements and raise an eyebrow whilst you think, "I wonder how much that award cost them?" Well, I can proudly say this did not cost us anything to win this award. There was no suggested purchase of a "table of 10" as part of an awards ceremony (which is a small shame as we do like a good reason to raise a glass of champagne).
We were approached by the team at SME News who explained that they were going to make the announcement in their next issue. A born sceptic, I quizzed them about how ITPR was chosen, the judging process and whether they had any feedback from the judges - happily they obliged:
"The judging panel were most impressed by the firm’s ability to use website analytics and SEO measurement tools in order to assess how PR activity can affect the overall performance."
They had spent time researching our case studies before reaching out and then asked me a few more questions as part of the process.
Choosing the right PR partner is not easy - especially in a world of Zoom/ Teams calls where building rapport quickly is hard. Our approach to B2B Tech PR is built upon decades of experience and, honestly, knowing what fails and what works.
Our core values of Impact, Trust, People and Reputation are at the centre of how we operate. Whether you're a Start-Up or SME that wants greater PR exposure in the UK to support your sales and marketing or an established business that needs international PR support, we approach every business as an individual and spend time to understand your specific business goals and objectives so that we can create a tailored PR campaign that delivers impact.
